Card.Fun's Disney 100 Merry Christmas set arrived in 2023 as part of the broader celebration of Disney's centennial milestone. The release tapped into the collector enthusiasm surrounding Disney's anniversary while capitalizing on holiday-themed trading cards, a niche that blends nostalgia with seasonal appeal. These special releases have become increasingly sought after by both Disney enthusiasts and trading card collectors looking for limited, thematic products beyond traditional sports and entertainment categories. Mike Wazowski's appearance here captures the lovable character from Monsters, Inc. in festive context. The card's secret rare designation reflects its scarcity within the set, making it particularly appealing to Disney character collectors and those pursuing complete set collections. His distinctive one-eyed charm translates well to card art, and limited availability drives ongoing collector interest.
