SkyBox's Disney Collector Cards Series II arrived in 1992 as the hobby was discovering that licensed entertainment properties could captivate collectors just as much as sports. These sets bridged the trading card market and Disney fandom, arriving at a moment when the studio's animation renaissance was in full swing. The colorful, beautifully printed cards became gateway products for younger collectors and Disney enthusiasts entering the hobby. "Pretty as a Picture" captures the distinctive charm that made these sets memorable—vibrant artwork celebrating iconic Disney moments and characters. Collectors pursue this series for its nostalgic appeal and the craftsmanship of early 1990s sports card printing applied to beloved animation, preserving a specific era when Disney's cultural moment and the trading card boom intersected perfectly.
