The 2024 Kayou 25th Anniversary SpongeBob SquarePants collection celebrates a quarter-century of the beloved cartoon with a modern trading card release. This set marks a significant moment in licensed anime-style card collecting, bringing Western pop culture properties into the TCG format during a period of explosive growth in alternative collectibles. The Fun Time Collection represents Kayou's expanding portfolio beyond traditional anime properties. Squidward Tentacles, SpongeBob's famously grumpy neighbor, appears here as a rare parallel card capturing his characteristically sardonic presence. Collectors gravitate toward character-specific cards from anniversary sets, particularly rare versions that showcase iconic personalities. This card appeals to both SpongeBob enthusiasts and TCG collectors seeking complete character rosters from landmark anniversary releases.
