The Weiss Schwarz Pixar set represents a significant collaboration between the Japanese trading card manufacturer and Disney-Pixar's beloved film library. Released in 2022, this set brought beloved characters and moments from across Pixar's catalog to the TCG format, appealing simultaneously to anime fans and collectors seeking nostalgia-driven Western IP cards. It exemplifies the broader trend of major franchises entering the Japanese card market during this period.
