Facing a New Trial emerged during the height of the Generation VII era, capturing the Alola region's unique Pokémon encounters. Japanese releases during this period showcased some of the era's most distinctive artwork and special rarity designations, with Double Rare cards commanding particular collector attention. These sets bridged mainstream appeal with the sophisticated design sensibilities that defined mid-2010s Pokémon TCG collecting. Lycanroc GX represents one of Alola's most striking evolutions, depicted with dynamic intensity in this illustration. The Double Rare designation elevates its visual presentation, making it sought after by collectors who appreciate both competitive playability and the artistic craftsmanship of this generation. Lycanroc's popularity during the Sun and Moon era ensures sustained collector interest.
