The Sword & Shield Celebrations collection marked a significant milestone in Pokémon TCG history, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the franchise in 2021. Released during peak trading card enthusiasm, these Black Star Promos became immediate collector favorites. The set captured a unique moment when Pokémon cards experienced renewed mainstream interest, making every inclusion from this release particularly meaningful to players and collectors alike. Mimikyu appears here in its characteristic pose, the Ghost/Fairy-type Pokémon rendered in the holo treatment that defines this collection's visual appeal. Known for its tragic backstory and devoted fanbase, Mimikyu's inclusion in the Celebrations set resonates with collectors who appreciate both the character's significance within the games and its artistic presence on card.
