Panini Select emerged in 2020 as one of the final releases before the company lost its NBA license. The 2020-21 basketball season marked unprecedented collector enthusiasm, and Select captured that energy with its bold design aesthetic and creative insert sets. Blue Retail versions represented the accessible tier of this release, offering collectors quality rookie cards without premium price points. Select became memorable for blending modern design with classic collecting appeal during a pivotal moment in the hobby's history. Tyrese Haliburton's rookie card here showcases the guard during his breakthrough season with the Sacramento Kings. Collectors pursue this card as a cornerstone piece of Haliburton's early cardography, documenting the beginning of a career defined by elite playmaking and steady development. The Blue Retail parallel provides an appealing entry point for building his collection across multiple decades of releases.
