SkyBox Fleer Metal Universe Retro Looney Tunes brought the premium foil aesthetic of the 1990s Metal Universe baseball card line into the world of classic animation. Released in 2024, this nostalgic set married two beloved collecting traditions—the shiny, embossed card stock that defined an era of sports cards with the timeless characters that built Warner Bros.' animation legacy. It's a celebration of how trading cards have always served as windows into popular culture. Hector the Bulldog stands as one of the set's memorable character selections, representing the charm and personality that made these cartoons enduring. Collectors are drawn to cards featuring these classic toons for their connection to entertainment history and the joy these characters have brought across generations.
