Topps G.P.K. American as Apple Pie in Your Face was a novelty sticker set released during the 2016 U.S. presidential election cycle, capturing the satirical and irreverent spirit of the era. These gross-out stickers carried on the tradition of Garbage Pail Kids parody cards, applying that humor to political figures. The set remains a quirky artifact of early-2016 pop culture, when trading card and sticker collecting saw renewed interest from both nostalgic collectors and newcomers drawn to topical, humorous products. This card features a caricatured take on a prominent political figure of that moment. Like others in the set, it blends absurdist artwork with wordplay, appealing to collectors who appreciate political commentary expressed through the trading card medium. Copies remain sought after by those documenting 2016 memorabilia and collectors drawn to novelty and parody card sets.
