Card Notes
The Celebrations set marked a significant milestone in Pokémon's trading card history, commemorating 25 years since the franchise's debut. Released in 2021, it brought together classic artwork and modern production, bridging nostalgic collectors with current players. The set's emphasis on iconic imagery from Pokémon's earliest years made it a cultural event, reconnecting fans across generations with the cards that started it all. This Pikachu represents the heart of that celebration—the franchise's most recognizable character rendered in classic form. The gold metal treatment elevates this promotional piece beyond standard releases, making it a distinctive keeper for those building comprehensive collections of Pikachu variants and Celebrations memorabilia.
