The Terastal Fest ex set represents a significant moment in Japanese Pokémon TCG history, arriving during the modern era's explosive growth in competitive and collecting communities. Released in 2024, this set showcased the Terastal mechanic that had captivated the video game audience, translating that mechanic's visual spectacle into card form. Reverse holographic versions became particularly prized for their enhanced presentation and collecting appeal. Trubbish, the mischievous Poison-type, appears here with artwork that captures the character's endearing nature despite its humble garbage-based design. Collectors seek Japanese reverse holos from this era for their superior print quality and unique aesthetic compared to English releases, making each example a worthy addition to serious Pokémon collections.
