Romance Dawn marked a pivotal moment for One Piece trading cards in the English market during 2022. As the foundational set for the TCG's Western release, it established the visual and mechanical language that would define the game's early competitive era. The set's secret rares remain particularly sought after, representing the premium tier of that inaugural wave and capturing collector enthusiasm during the franchise's peak momentum. Yamato stands out as a dynamic character card from the series' most compelling roster additions. Collectors are drawn to this secret rare for its striking artwork and the character's significance within the narrative—a powerful ally whose presence elevated the franchise's late-stage storytelling. Early adopters of the One Piece TCG view such cards as cornerstones of their collections from this formative period.
