Hidden Fates arrived in late 2019 as a special collection set that reignited interest in the Pokémon TCG during a transformative period for the hobby. The Shiny Vault subset became legendary among collectors for featuring full-art alternate colorway versions of popular Pokémon, creating a treasure-hunt collecting experience that drove enthusiasm across the community. This set helped establish the modern era's collecting culture and remains highly sought.
