Shining Fates arrived in early 2021 as a collector favorite, arriving when interest in Pokémon cards was surging. The set introduced the Shiny Vault subset, which featured full-art Shiny Pokémon with alternate colorways and special visual treatments. It became a defining release for collectors seeking premium, harder-to-pull cards with striking aesthetics that elevated the visual standards of modern Pokémon collecting. Toxtricity VMAX appears as a vibrant full-art card showcasing the electric-type Pokémon in its shiny form. The dramatic artwork captures the Pokémon mid-performance, surrounded by dynamic electric energy effects. Full-art Shiny cards from this era appeal to collectors drawn to bold character illustrations and the technical challenge of pulling these rarer variants.
