Paldean Fates arrived in 2024 as a special set bringing closure to the Scarlet and Violet era. Known for its focus on Hyper Rare full-art cards and striking modern illustration styles, the set captured collectors' attention during a period of renewed interest in premium Pokemon releases. It represented a thoughtful culmination of the generation's visual direction and card design philosophy. Chi-Yu ex appears here as one of the set's standout legendary Pokemon, depicted with the dramatic artistry the Hyper Rare designation promises. This Treasures of Ruin member holds particular appeal for collectors seeking complete legendary lineups and those drawn to the bold, contemporary aesthetic that defines modern Pokemon card illustration.
