Bowman University represented a significant pivot for the Bowman brand in 2023, extending its storied legacy of prospect identification into the college basketball space. As the first Bowman set dedicated to collegiate players, it captured an exciting moment when NIL opportunities and early NBA projections made college athletes increasingly collectible. The set became a benchmark for investors and enthusiasts seeking to establish positions on future league talent before the professional draft. JuJu Watkins emerged as one of the most sought names from this inaugural release. Her profile as a dynamic college prospect commanded collector attention, and her Bowman University rookie card remains a popular entry point for those building positions on promising talent entering the professional ranks.
