Panini Select represented a premium offering during the company's final years producing NBA cards before losing the league license. The brand was known for its layered design philosophy and experimental parallel variations, with Blue Shimmer Prizm parallels standing out for their distinctive visual treatment. Select occupied a middle ground between standard releases and ultra-premium products, appealing to collectors seeking quality without the extreme price points of the hobby's highest tiers. Kevin Love has remained a consistent presence across basketball card releases throughout his career, valued by collectors for his all-star credentials and versatility as a big man.
