Panini Select was the premium flagship release during the final years of Panini's NBA license, representing a shift toward high-end collecting with intricate designs and limited parallels. The 2021 edition captured a pivotal moment in basketball, released as the league emerged from pandemic disruptions. Silver Prizm parallels became particularly sought after for their distinctive visual appeal, balancing scarcity with accessibility compared to rarer variants. Damian Lillard remains one of the most collected guards in modern basketball cards, prized for his elite scoring ability and clutch performances. This Silver Prizm parallel combines the appeal of a perennial All-Star with the aesthetic charm of the Prizm finish, making it a natural target for both Lillard enthusiasts and Select set builders alike.
