Panini Donruss Optic arrived in 2022 as one of the final releases before the company's NBA license ended, making it a notable bookend to their tenure in the sport. The set maintained the brand's tradition of vibrant, modern design and chase cards that appealed to both newcomers and seasoned collectors. Optic's popularity during this transition period solidified its place in recent hobby history. Chet Holmgren's rookie card captures the promising young center early in his NBA journey. His combination of length, athleticism, and defensive potential drew significant collector interest from day one, making his rookie variations sought after across multiple sets that year. This particular card represents a key entry point for building a complete Holmgren collection.
