# Card Notes The Pokémon Vending Prism Sticker Cards represent a fascinating chapter in late-1990s Pokémon merchandise, released during the height of the franchise's cultural dominance. These Japanese promotional items were distributed through vending machines and retail channels, offering collectors an accessible entry point into the phenomenon. Prism cards were particularly sought after for their distinctive holographic treatment and rainbow-like visual effects, making them stand out among standard cards of the era. They remain cherished artifacts of that golden period of Pokémon collecting. Rhyhorn, the armored rock-type Pokémon, appears here in its characteristic aggressive stance. The prism treatment enhances the card's visual appeal, catching light in ways that emphasize the creature's imposing horned design. Collectors pursue these sticker cards as genuine pieces of early Pokémon history, valued for their nostalgic appeal and the technical achievement of the prism printing process that predated many modern collecting innovations.
