Artbox's Pokemon Action Flipz from 1999 captured the height of the trading card boom's first wave. These lenticular cards offered kinetic novelty—the image shifted as you tilted them—making them a distinct entry in an era when collectors pursued everything Pokemon. Premier Edition marked early production, before the market's eventual saturation, giving these releases lasting significance among players and hobbyists who remember the original craze. Eevee and its evolution Flareon remain iconic Pokemon, their designs enduring across decades. This miscut example adds character often valued by error collectors, who appreciate how production quirks tell the story of 1999's frenzied manufacturing. The shifting lenticular effect on these cards made them particularly appealing to younger collectors then, and they've maintained collector interest as nostalgic artifacts of that specific moment.
