Panini Haunted Hoops emerged during the final years of the company's NBA license, blending Halloween-themed aesthetics with basketball card collecting. Released in 2024, the set captured a moment of transition in the hobby as collectors embraced creative, alternative designs beyond traditional releases. The Rookie Orange parallel represents a scarcer iteration within the set, appealing to those seeking both thematic appeal and collecting challenge. Bronny James Jr.'s rookie cards carry significant cultural weight as the first player to share an NBA roster with his father. This Haunted Hoops version features striking seasonal artwork that stands apart from conventional rookie card imagery, making it distinctive for collectors drawn to both the player's historic entry into professional basketball and the set's distinctive visual approach.
