Panini Haunted Hoops emerged during a fascinating period when basketball card design embraced horror and Halloween aesthetics. Released in 2024, the set represents the creative experimentation of modern trading cards, blending NBA subjects with spooky, supernatural themes that appeal to collectors seeking unconventional designs. The Slime insert series within Haunted Hoops became particularly notable for its visceral, eye-catching visual treatment that departed from traditional card design conventions. This Trayce Jackson-Davis card captures the center during his NBA career, rendered through the Slime series' distinctive aesthetic. Collectors are drawn to cards that merge athlete representation with unique artistic visions, and this piece exemplifies that intersection. Jackson-Davis's prominence in recent NBA seasons combined with the set's memorable visual identity makes this card a focal point for both player collectors and those hunting for standout designs from this era.
