Panini Haunted Hoops represented the designer's final push in NBA trading cards before the company's exit from the sport. The 2024 Slime subset brought playful, Halloween-themed aesthetics to modern basketball releases, capturing a moment when Panini experimented with novelty designs alongside its traditional offerings. These cards remain snapshots of the brand's creative final chapter. Evan Mobley's inclusion in this spooky series appeals to collectors following the young Cavaliers star's trajectory. The Slime treatment gives his card an eye-catching, unconventional presentation that stands apart from standard basketball card designs, making it a notable entry for both Mobley enthusiasts and those drawn to the set's distinctive visual approach.
