Panini Haunted Hoops arrived during a fascinating transition period in basketball card collecting, when the hobby was exploring creative themes beyond traditional designs. Released in 2024, the set embraced a darker, more artistic aesthetic that appealed to collectors seeking distinctive visual experiences. This departure from standard player photography helped establish the set as a memorable entry in modern basketball card releases, attracting both traditional collectors and those drawn to unconventional imagery. Kyrie Irving appears here as Card 38, captured through the set's signature haunted aesthetic. Irving's dynamic style and personality have made him a perennial collector favorite across releases, and this particular rendition offers a fresh interpretation of the star point guard. Collectors appreciate this card for both its artistic execution and Irving's continued relevance in professional basketball.
