Dragon Ex was a landmark 2003 release that introduced the Ex mechanic to the Pokemon Trading Card Game, fundamentally reshaping competitive play and collecting. These high-risk, high-reward cards with doubled prize penalties became instant classics, driving unprecedented demand for the set. Dragon Ex's bold design philosophy and powerful Pokémon made it one of the most sought-after releases of the modern era, establishing collecting patterns that persist today. Numel, the Fire-type camel Pokémon, appears here in its characteristic volcanic setting. This particular card captures the Pokémon's volcanic nature through its artwork, offering collectors a clean example of Dragon Ex's vibrant illustration style. Numel appeals to both set builders and thematic collectors exploring the Fire-type lineage from this pivotal era.
