Paldean Fates arrived in late 2024 as a special set celebrating Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Generation IX era. The set marked a notable shift in modern collecting, blending traditional chase cards with innovative shiny variants that brought fresh visual appeal to contemporary releases. This era represents the hobby's ongoing evolution, where nostalgic collector bases intersect with new player acquisition. Noivern ex is a shiny variant that transforms this elegant dragon-type into striking alternative colors. The card captures the Pokémon mid-flight against dynamic artwork, appealing to collectors who value both competitive relevance and aesthetic presentation. Shiny ex cards from this period remain popular targets for set completion and those seeking visually distinctive centerpieces for their collections.
