Pokémon Stellar Crown arrived in 2024 as part of the Scarlet & Violet era, representing a mature period for the TCG when the hobby had stabilized after years of explosive growth. The set continued the Stellar mechanics introduced earlier, offering collectors refined gameplay mechanics alongside sought-after character cards. By this point, Pokémon TCG had established itself as a permanent fixture in card collecting culture, balancing competitive play with artistic appeal. Briar appears as a Supporter card featuring a character from the games' narrative. Collectors appreciate Supporter cards for their gameplay functionality and increasingly for their artwork, which often captures key personalities from the Pokémon universe. Character-focused cards remain central to many collections, whether for gameplay decks or as standalone pieces that celebrate the broader Pokémon world.
