One Piece Kingdoms of Intrigue represented a significant moment for the TCG during the early 2020s boom, introducing alternative art treatments that elevated collectibility beyond playability. The Chinese release of this set brought premium production values and localized appeal to a rapidly expanding Asian market, establishing itself as a notable chapter in the card game's expansion history. Crocodile's alternate art depicts one of the series' most compelling antagonists with striking visual depth and character presence. Collectors are drawn to this particular illustration for its dynamic composition and the way it captures the character's menacing elegance, making it a standout piece for fans and set completionists alike.
