The 2023 One Piece 7-Eleven Campaign represents a significant moment in Japanese anime card collecting, blending mainstream retail accessibility with premium collectibility. These promotional cards marked a major push to introduce One Piece trading cards into convenient store channels, capturing interest from both casual fans and serious collectors during a period of explosive growth in anime card popularity. Card #3 features Eustass Kid, the fierce captain of the Kid Pirates and a central figure throughout the series. His commanding presence and striking character design make him a popular subject among collectors. This card exemplifies the campaign's appeal—quality artwork of beloved characters distributed through an unconventional retail format that made them simultaneously accessible and scarce.
