One Piece Tournament Pack Vol. 1 arrived during the trading card game's explosive growth in the West. Released in 2022, it represented a pivotal moment when Bandai's One Piece card game was gaining serious traction among collectors and competitive players alike. Tournament packs offered premium printings and exclusive cards, making them highly sought after by those invested in the game's early competitive landscape and the broader anime card boom of that era. Yamato stands as a compelling character card from this formative set period. As a character introduced in the later arcs of One Piece, Yamato's inclusion reflects the game's commitment to representing current manga and anime storylines. Collectors appreciate cards featuring this character for both gameplay relevance and the character's growing significance within the series itself.
