Panini NBA Hoops Tribute represents a significant final chapter in Panini's two-decade run as an NBA card manufacturer before losing their license. Released in 2024, this set became particularly notable as collectors recognized it might be among the last traditional Panini basketball offerings. The Tribute designation highlighted legendary and contemporary players, blending nostalgia with current talent as the company prepared for their exit from the market. This Nikola Jokic card captures one of basketball's most dominant modern talents during his prime years. Collectors pursue Jokic cards from this era as his MVP seasons and continued excellence have made him one of the hobby's defining contemporary subjects, ensuring his cardboard legacy remains central to 2020s collecting.
