Panini Select stands as one of the final flagship releases from Panini America before the company's exit from the trading card market. The 2024 Rookie edition captured a pivotal moment in hobby history, preserving the early professional cards of a generation of athletes entering their respective leagues. Select's design philosophy emphasized premium presentation with distinctive visual treatments and carefully curated rookie selections, making these releases particularly significant to collectors documenting the starting points of future careers. Cody Williams' rookie card represents an athlete's entry into the collecting landscape at a formative moment. The Select design framework showcases the player with the brand's characteristic polish and visual appeal, making it an appealing centerpiece for both new collectors and those building comprehensive rookie collections.
