The 2022 Panini Donruss set represents one of the final releases from Panini Sports before losing their NFL license. Donruss remained a cornerstone brand throughout the company's tenure, known for its bold design aesthetic and accessible pricing that appealed to collectors across all budget levels. This particular era is remembered as a transitional period in the hobby, making late-era Panini releases increasingly relevant to those documenting the company's legacy. Roethlisberger's card captures the future Hall of Famer during his final season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Collectors value this card both as a career capstone for one of football's most accomplished quarterbacks and as part of the broader Panini catalog. It remains a straightforward, classic football card that resonates with both Steelers fans and those building comprehensive Roethlisberger collections.
