Panini Donruss represented a modern cornerstone of football card collecting during its run as the NFL's licensed manufacturer. The 2022 release maintained the brand's tradition of straightforward design and accessibility, appealing to both longtime collectors and newcomers. Yellow Press Proofs were among the set's specialty parallels, offering vibrant visual variation and limited availability compared to base versions. These parallels became particularly sought after as Panini's time with the NFL license drew to a close, lending them nostalgic significance in the hobby. Curtis Martin stands among the most accomplished running backs in NFL history, bringing Hall of Fame credentials to any collection. This parallel captures the dynamic energy characteristic of Donruss photography, celebrating Martin's legacy through modern cardboard. Collectors drawn to 1990s and early 2000s football stars, or those pursuing complete parallel sets, find particular appeal in specialty versions like this one.
