The Editorial Phoenix Pokemon Card Database Halloween set represents the expanding landscape of unlicensed and independent Pokemon card projects that emerged in 2024. As official releases continued to dominate the market, independent creators pushed artistic boundaries through custom sets, offering collectors alternative designs and creative interpretations of beloved characters. These projects document a period when the hobby's community increasingly explored fan-made collectibles alongside mainstream products. Sableye paired with Gengar creates a thematic pairing of two iconic Ghost-type Pokemon, appealing to collectors drawn to spooky imagery and dual-character designs. The Halloween-themed set emphasizes seasonal artwork and atmospheric presentation, making this card particularly sought after by those collecting thematic subsets and independent interpretations of classic Pokemon.
