Dragon Ball Super Ultimate Squad arrived in 2022 as a major release during the trading card game's peak collecting period. The set represented a comprehensive celebration of the Dragon Ball Super anime, capturing both iconic characters and deeper roster cuts. Foil versions became particularly sought after by collectors who valued the visual enhancement and collectibility these premium versions offered during an era of explosive TCG growth. Kami, Guardian of Earth showcases one of the franchise's most respected characters—the ancient Namekian who shaped much of Dragon Ball's early story. The card's artwork draws from his role as Earth's protector and spiritual guide, resonating with longtime fans of the series. Collectors appreciate cards featuring foundational characters like Kami, especially in premium foil presentation, for their historical significance within the Dragon Ball universe.
