Dragon Ball Super Ultimate Squad arrived in 2022 as a pivotal release during the TCG's renaissance period. The set captured the franchise's most powerful characters and moments, appealing to both longtime Dragon Ball fans and newer collectors drawn to the game's expanding competitive scene. Ultimate Squad became known for its bold character selections and dynamic artwork that defined the era's aesthetic standards. Demon God Towa in her "Preparing..." state represents a fascinating character study within the set. Her card portrays the villain in a rare contemplative moment before conflict erupts, making it distinctly different from typical action-focused Dragon Ball cards. Collectors are drawn to character-specific cards like this one that showcase nuanced storytelling and expand beyond the main narrative cast.
