Dragon Ball Super's trading card game expanded significantly in 2022 with sets like Dawn of the Z-Legends, which brought fresh artwork and mechanics to the TCG landscape. This era represented an important moment for Dragon Ball collecting, as the game continued building on years of established player interest while attracting new fans through bold character interpretations and striking visual presentations. Syn Shenron, the shadow dragon antagonist from Dragon Ball GT, represents a pivotal villain in the franchise's extended storyline. Card #2 captures this character with the thematic One-Star Ball imagery, making it an appealing pull for collectors of antagonist-focused cards and those building GT-era collections. The combination of character significance and artistic presentation has made this card a notable entry in the set.
