COSMAX produced fan art Pokémon cards throughout the early 2020s as unlicensed collectibles that gained traction within niche collecting communities. These cards exist in a gray area of the hobby—unofficial yet professionally crafted—appealing to enthusiasts who appreciate creative interpretations outside The Pokémon Company's licensing control. The set represents a moment when alternative card makers filled demand for unique artwork and designs. This card depicts Mega Pidgeot merged with Pikachu, a creative crossover that blends two iconic Pokémon. The artwork showcases imaginative character fusion design that official releases typically wouldn't explore. Collectors seek these COSMAX pieces for their artistic boldness and the novelty of seeing beloved characters reimagined in unexpected ways.
