Roaring Skies arrived in 2015 as a pivotal set in the Pokémon Trading Card Game's evolution. This era marked the height of the EX mechanic's popularity, where powerful Stage 2 Pokémon commanded competitive play and collector attention alike. The set captured a moment when the modern TCG was thriving with both competitive depth and accessible appeal, making it a significant touchstone for players and hobbyists of that generation.
