Pokémon Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance arrived in 2022 as one of the final main-set releases before the rotation to Scarlet & Violet. The set is remembered for its striking celestial theme and robust card pool that supported multiple competitive archetypes. Full art secret rares became increasingly popular with collectors during this era, blending playability with gallery-worthy aesthetics that elevated the entire collecting experience. Trekking Shoes exemplifies the secret rare full art treatment at its best—practical trainer cards reimagined with expansive, detailed artwork that transforms utility into visual interest. Collectors appreciate how this card captures the adventurous spirit of the Pokémon world while delivering functional gameplay, making it equally valued by those building decks and those building collections.
