Base Set 2 arrived in 2000 as a reprint of Pokemon's original 1999 release, capturing the height of the trading card phenomenon that had swept the globe. This set remained accessible to collectors who missed the initial run, cementing Pokemon cards as a cultural touchstone of the early 2000s. The set's reprints helped sustain the hobby through its formative years and remain nostalgic markers for collectors of that era. Lass is a Trainer card depicting a young female character from the Pokemon games. As a utility card with modest effects, it represents the support cards that rounded out competitive decks of the era. Collectors appreciate Base Set Trainer cards for their charming artwork and connection to Pokemon's original game design.
