Garbage Pail Kids stickers were a cultural phenomenon of the 1980s, bringing crude humor and satirical artwork to a generation of collectors. The Topps stickers became legendary for their irreverent parodies of pop culture and their ability to offend parents while delighting kids. These stickers defined an era of collecting and remain some of the most iconic and sought-after issues from the decade. Diaper Dan exemplifies the gross-out humor that made the series so memorable and controversial. The sticker's absurdist take on infancy appealed to the series' core audience and has endured as a recognizable entry in the GPK canon. Collectors value these early 1986 stickers for their historical significance and the nostalgic snapshot they provide of 1980s pop sensibilities.
