Topps Garbage Pail Kids We Hate the 90's tapped into nostalgia for a generation discovering that the decade they grew up in had become ripe for parody. Released in 2019, this set lampooned '90s film culture with the irreverent humor GPK fans expect, mining comedy from beloved and forgotten movies alike. The series proved the brand's staying power decades after its original run, appealing to collectors seeking both childhood memories and contemporary commentary on recent pop culture. Tussling Tyler draws from '90s action and thriller cinema, applying GPK's signature darkly comedic twist to its subject matter. Like the best cards in the set, it balances recognizable source material with the grotesque exaggeration that defines the Garbage Pail Kids aesthetic. Collectors appreciate these pop culture-focused entries for their clever riffing on films that defined an era.
