The Mutagen Canister Kids Stickers Open Edition represents a distinctive corner of modern collecting where vintage sticker aesthetics meet contemporary artist collaborations. Released in 2024, this set captures the nostalgic appeal of 80s and 90s sticker culture while embracing open edition accessibility and autographed variants. Mark Pingitore's involvement brought his distinctive artistic vision to the project, making these stickers collectible as standalone art pieces rather than mere adhesive novelties. Card 37b features Phil Moon, rendered in Pingitore's characteristic style. The autographed variant adds a layer of authenticity and personal connection that elevates these stickers beyond their humble origins. Collectors appreciate both the artistic merit of the illustration and the direct connection to the creator through the signature, making this a meaningful piece for fans of contemporary art-driven collectibles.
