✍️ Autograph Authentication Crown Verified
This card carries a Mark Pingitore autograph in dark blue marker, signed vertically along the left side of the card over the Yo Gus artwork. The ink is thicker where the pen pressed down and tapers at the ends of the strokes, and the signature sits on top of the printed art. Crown Grading compared it with known Mark Pingitore signatures, including several from the same 2021 Nintendopes Open Edition release, and Crown staff reviewed the autograph and approved it. Crown Grading authenticates this autograph as genuine.

Card Notes
Nintendopes Stickers captured a playful moment in modern collectibles when artists began reimagining gaming culture through unconventional mediums. Released as an open edition in 2021, the series represented the democratization of artist-signed collectibles, allowing fans to own autographed work without the gatekeeping of traditional sports card markets. Mark Pingitore's distinctive style brought humor and personality to beloved Nintendo characters, resonating with collectors seeking art over athletics. Yo Gus showcases Pingitore's ability to inject personality into familiar characters. The autographed sticker format makes it an accessible entry point for collectors building artist collections or exploring the intersection of gaming nostalgia and contemporary art. It remains a charming artifact of its moment.
