Pokémon Phantasmal Flames marks an exciting chapter in the modern TCG era, arriving as the hobby continues to evolve with fresh mechanics and compelling artwork. Pre-release staff promos represent an insider's piece of the release cycle—cards distributed to tournament organizers and event staff before public availability. These black star promos carry particular significance among collectors for their exclusive nature and limited circulation compared to standard retail releases. Flygon, the ground and dragon-type desert dweller, appears here in its staff promotional form with special holo treatment. The card captures this beloved Pokémon in a striking visual presentation that appeals to both competitive players and collectors drawn to the species. Staff promos remain sought-after additions to complete collections, offering a tangible connection to the set's launch window.
