The Disney100 Weiss Schwarz set commemorated Disney's centennial anniversary in 2023, bringing one of Japan's most popular trading card games into conversation with Western pop culture icons. This release marked a significant moment for anime and card game enthusiasts to engage with classic Disney characters through the lens of Japanese card aesthetics and mechanics, creating a unique crossover that appealed to both longtime Weiss Schwarz players and Disney collectors worldwide. Jasmine appears here as a focal character from Aladdin, one of Disney's most beloved animated films. Her inclusion in this prestigious set reflects the enduring appeal of her character—a princess defined by intelligence and agency rather than tradition. Collectors are drawn to Disney character cards that capture these iconic figures with thoughtful artwork and cultural significance.
