Awakening of the New Era marked a significant moment in One Piece TCG collecting, bringing enhanced alternate art treatments to the game's growing Western audience. Released in 2023, the set demonstrated the franchise's sustained momentum in the card game market, offering collectors beautifully illustrated character variants alongside competitive gameplay options. The Super Rare Alt. Art designation became increasingly sought after during this period as the hobby matured. Enel, the lightning-wielding antagonist from One Piece's Skypiea arc, receives a striking alternate illustration in this release. His commanding presence and distinctive abilities translate powerfully to card form, capturing the character's arrogance and overwhelming electrical prowess. Fans and collectors appreciate both his significance to the story and the artistic interpretation that sets this version apart.
